# Andrew Chen Leads the Survivors Into Day 2 of the ESPT Main Event ## Day 1 of the Main Event Draws to a Close

Only 55 of 550 Remain in Contention

The first day of the much-anticipated ESPT Main Event has wrapped up, and only 55 players remain in contention for the top prize. Among them is Andrew Chen, who finished the day as the chip leader with a stack of 1,100,000.

The day started with 550 players taking their seats, but the field was quickly whittled down as the blinds increased and the play became more intense.

By the end of the day, only 55 players remained, and they will return tomorrow to battle it out for a share of the €1,000,000 prize pool.

Andrew Chen is the current chip leader, but there are several other players who are close behind him.
